Edward O. Wilson - Pellegrino Research Professor in Entomology at Harvard. Two of his books, On Human Nature (1978) and The Ants (1990) have been awarded the Pulitzer Prize. In 1998 he published Consilience, his much praised study of the unity of knowledge.
