Thomas Turano

Thomas A. Turano is a partner in the intellectual property group of the Boston law firm of Testa, Hurwitz & Thibeault, LLP. In addition to being admitted to the bar in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and several federal courts, he is also a licensed to practice before the US Patent and Trademark Office.

Mr. Turano has degrees in physics, biophysics, biology and electrical engineering, has authored and co-authored numerous technical and legal articles and has published a book on patent prosecution. He is also the co-chair of the Bioinformatics Subgroup at Testa Hurwitz & Thibeault, LLP. Mr. Turano's practice includes US and foreign patent prosecution, intellectual property licensing and litigation, and client counseling.
